I heard about the new Jyrobike Auto Balance Bike and all I could see in my mind’s eye was my two year old daughter tearing down the street at breakneck speed with no fear of falling over, thanks to the revolutionary gyroscopic Control Hub in the front wheel.
Terrifying, but oh so incredibly cool!
The creators of the Jyrobike Auto Balance Bike just launched a new Kickstarter for the second round of production fundraising, and the best way to find out all of the nifty things about this bike is just to go read the Jyrobike Kickstarter page. I love the green and white limited edition bike pictured there, and I know Serenity would love it! My two favorite features of the Jyrobike are that you can purchase an optional wireless remote control that lets you gradually reduce the gyroscopic action as your child learns to balance on their own, and that the Control Hub includes speakers with three different goofy sound effects – bugle, dinosaur, and siren.
Can’t you just picture my wild redhead racing down the street, her bicycle roaring like a T-rex at pedestrians???
Like any good Kickstarter, the creators of the Jyrobike Auto Balance Bike are offering a variety of great incentives for donors to their fundraising efforts, ranging from a personal “thank you” for donations of at least $13, to a handmade Control Hub prototype for donations of $5,000 or more. Get involved here.
How old were your kids when they learned to ride a bike?
